Wax Museum, Kanyakumari

Wax Museum, Kanyakumari
Wax Museum is situated at Baywatch Amusement Park in Kanyakumari. It is the first Wax Museum in India and opened for visitors on 24th December 2005. Wax museum stuns you with its wax figures of the Indian history as well as the world history. The museum houses all the important figures of the Indian History as well as the world history in wax form. The wax figures are realistic and the Wax Museum is reminiscent of its famous counterpart in London. The accuracy of the wax figures is taken very much in consideration that the wax statues looks like an original personality.

A kind of Madame Tussaud’s, the wax statues in this museum include acclaimed personalities like Dr. Manmohan Singh, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Amitabh Bachchan, Michael Jackson, Shahrukh Khan, Rajnikanth, Jackie Chan and many others. This museum is located next to the Stella Maris Institute of Development Studies. The 3-D paintings make the display of wax statues quite interesting.
